Super excited for a short excursion to Cuba. It has been a dream of mine to visit Cuba for a very long time. Years ago, I worked on a film “Grandpapa” which followed Margot Hemingway to the island and traced her infamous grandfather’s famous haunts. Alas, I was pregnant at the time and had to stay behind. Several more opportunities presented themselves but somehow I could never get away. So I am super excited to be going for the Havana Biennial with three friends who know the town well and who have managed every detail – my idea of heaven!
So I had better get packing. First I checked the weather and found out that it will be quite warm. Highs in the 90’s a low in the 70’s. This will call for light cotton dress for day and white pants and tunics or long dresses for evenings. It is essential to pack in a roll on bag, so organization will be key. My color scheme when I travel south is a bright combination of pinks, coral and oranges.

PACKING LIST CUBA
On the Plane:white pants , top, cardigan or light weight jacket, tote, wrap, hat, sunglasses.
Day Wear:2 cotton or linen dresses, 1 skirt or long shorts, 2tops.
Evening:1 white pants, 2 tunics, 1 long dress, clutch or small bag.
Shoes:1 low heeled walking shoes, 1 medium heeled sandals, 1 wedgesandal Also: 1 bathing suit and coverup, packable hat.
