what to wear wassaic project

This is a fantastic event for all lovers of art and ideas; it is definitely worth a trip up from the city or elsewhere. Wassaic is a Hamlet in Amenia, New York, strategically situated on the Metro North line that has become a haven for artists, writers, film directors. The Wassaic Project seeks to provide an intimate space for creating art and strengthening the local community. The Wassaic Festival Preview Party will be honoring the founder of Open Engagement Conference: Jen Delos Reyes, on June 13, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. It will be a night of food, drinks, music, and fabulous raffles. All proceeds of the benefit will go towards funding the Wassaic Education Program and keeping the annual summer festival free for public engagement.

Wondering what to wear to a hip art opening in the country? Well, pretty much anything goes. We have been eyeing this Tory Burch sheath for some time; its the “go-to” item for showcasing your summer style! It can take you from the beach, to lunch, to shopping on Madison, to evenings out and about. To play some more with this tribal look, we chose a fun Free People top in black and white. Pair it with some cropped white jeans to bring a little city chic out of town. With the selections of purses we’ve chosen from Zac Posen and Rebecca Minkoff, you’re sure to be carrying your very own work of art through the Wassaic Summer Benefit.
