Ubuntu Fashion Show

Our great pal, Doni Belau of Girls Guide to Paris founded Ubuntu Africa, non-profit dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of HIV-positive children in under-served communities in South Africa. Ubuntu Africa will be hosting a fun, wild, crazy and unique fashion show, on Thursday, November 13th at Broadstreet Ballroom, to benefit our kids in Africa with HIV.  The one-night only theatrical fashion show weaves dance, movement, music and story into a seamless choreographed piece. Followed by a live DJ after party and trunk sale where attendees can purchase items directly from the runway.  For more information and to purchase tickets to this event, please visit their GENERATION UBUNTU.

For what to wear to a wild night of fashion, dancing and fun, we were inspired by Diane von Furstenberg‘s lioness mane and sense of style.  Stalking prey, whether in the bush or on Broad Street, requires a bit of animal print glamour and DvF has it all.    Every huntress needs a little wild in her wardrobe.  We love these pieces because they translate so well for travel, north or south, east or west.   Leopard has become a modern-day neutral, and a piece or two can elevate your travel wardrobe stylishly for any upcoming destination.
