Looking for a great weekend destination? The Wassaic Project is a perfect place to spend a day, an evening or a weekend. Reachable by Metro North or a short drive from the city, the hamlet is a hangout for art, artist and their fans. This year Bowie Zunino, Jeff Barnett-Winsbey, and Eve Biddle are creating a wonderful evening of celebration of the arts. On Saturday June 11th, 5 to 8pm, this summer benefit preview party kicks off the opening of the 2016 Exhibition: Appetite for Destruction. With the goal to expand funding for visual and performing artists, The Wassaic Project provides cultural capital in the underserved area of Wassaic, New York. For tickets and information, please go to THE WASSAIC PROJECT.
For what to wear to a summer art show in the country, anything goes so we shopped Tory Burch to find some favorite summer looks. Of course a little summer dress, white jeans, off the shoulder top and a fabulous jumpsuit will take you anywhere. We are mad for the fringed accessories to add a bit of boho drama to your sizzling summer soirée.
