Next week is The Newport Antiques Show. This has become one of the nation’s premier antiques venues presenting a wide selection of important American antiques. The Gala Preview Party is a much anticipated event and is always great fun. You never know what treasures you will find, and this year I am looking forward to seeing the loan exhibit “Fifty Objects That Changed Rhode Island History.” Should be interesting!
I chose a Chloe dress to wear to the Gala and thought I would accessorize with gold shoes and jewelry. I never leave home without a compact and lip gloss in my bag and these are among my favorites. I am all set to shop, just need my credit card… Oh and best of all, the proceeds benefit the Newport Historical Society and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County.
