On Friday, December 10 the Winter Wonderland Ball will take place at the New York Botanical Garden and calls for an evening of cocktails, dinner and dancing. Chairmen include our friend Jennifer Creel, Cristina Cuomo, Emma J.P. Goergen, Alex Kramer, Alexandra Lebenthal, Christian Leone, Aexandra Lind Rose, Molly Sims and Kerry Washington. Proceeds support the New York Botanical Garden’s world renowned Children’s Education program, specifically the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden, which is a 12-acre indoor/outdoor facility creating the perfect setting for a child to explore. The attire is black tie with a detailed description of Winter White and Black. As the event is sponsored by Fendi & Saks Fifth Avenue with additional support from InStyle, we went straight to Saks to figure out what to wear to such an event. We found two grecian-like gowns, one in an ivory wintery-white from Carmen Marc Valvo and a cascading black organza dress from Marchesa and paired them with silver accessories to hone in on the frosty theme.
