Celebrating the Arts is this year’s theme for The Gordon Parks Foundation Awards Dinner and Auction taking place place on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Cipriani Wall Street. The Gordon Parks Foundation permanently preserves the work of Gordon Parks, makes it available to the public through exhibitions, books, and electronic media and supports artistic and educational activities that advance what Gordon described as “the common search for a better life and a better world.” With Chairs Alicia Keys, Kaseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean and Karl Lagerfeld running the show, the list of attendees is a Who’s Who in fashion and the arts. The foundation and co-chairs will be honoring Laurent Claquin, Thornton Dial, JR, Usher Raymond IV, and Robert De Niro & Grace Hightower De Niro.
