The Boys’ Club of New York Annual Black Tie Fall Dance is just around the corner on Thursday October 28th. This wonderful organization, founded in 1876, encourages an environment that nurtures individual talent, strengthens families and promotes strong citizenship while fostering a passion for learning. The glamorous, go-to event of the fall season held at 583 Park Avenue, is creatively chaired by Travis Acquavella, Tantivy Gubelmann Bostwick, Merrill Curtis and Claudia Overstrom. Festivities begin with cocktails at 7:30pm, followed by an evening of dinner and dancing into the wee hours. It is quite a night of celebration and revelry and since the dress code is black tie we are opting for this lovely Marchesa ruffle gown with the perfect dancing Choos and a sparkly clutch. What to wear to accessorize? Van Cleef & Arpels has generously sponsored the event so we will add a dash of autumnal red to our outfit with this pin that can double as a hair clip (à la Uma Thurman). While we were out shopping, we picked some of our other favorite black tie ensembles that are perfect for the New York Fall festive season – see below.
