As I have written here before, I am fortunate to spend time in Newport, RI during the summers. This year’s return of the America’s Cup to Narraganset Bay has the city abuzz with activity. I love the nautical look – so easy and patriotic for this active racing community. Whether catching the action aboard a beautiful classic McMillen Yacht or from the shores of Fort Adams, I will be wearing some form of casual white, blue and red. And of course I will always be sporting my chic Fairchild Baldwin linen tote… perfect with any outfit and sold exclusively in the W2WW Boutique.
Later in July, the Newport Antiques Show will showcase over forty of the industry’s finest dealers. The event has become a major summer social event and I look forward to checking out all the beautiful antiques wearing this cute white lace Dolce dress… Best of all, the proceeds of the Show benefit the Newport Historical Society and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Newport County.
NewportFilm is also celebrating the return of the America’s Cup by showing a film on the history of the Cup. I always enjoy the wonderful films this company provides to the Newport community throughout the year, and this is no exception. There are so many things to look forward to on this beautiful island, but most of all spending the warm summer days and evenings with family and friends.
