I am looking forward to a post summer retreat back to the city and went looking for some “Sidewalk Shoes”. September is such a promising month as we literally “hit the ground running,” footing it all over town. Shoes are an essential part of this reentry. I am not really a sneaker person, and I don’t wear flats, so I have shopped some of the most comfy-chic styles this season with a tad of lift. I find a layer between my tooties and the toasty pavement is a good thing.
This shoe just arrived from backorder and it is all ready tops my city-hoofing collection. Leave it to Gucci to design something so stylishly comfortable, it feels like walking on air.
Here is another soft-landing pair
Michael Kors comes through with a great looking platform.
Rubber soled loafers are always a great choice for absorbing the asphalt.
Clogs have been updated and provide a stable platform.
And love the silhouette on these – both are rubber soled
Shearling is on trend – so many soft styles to choose.
And if you want to dress up a bit, take a pair of your beloved low heeled pumps to the Shoe Repair
to add a layer of rubber to the sole – it works wonders.
