1. Exercise Sandal or Flip Flop. Wear these for walking long distances. They can also sub-in at the gym, if you don’t want to travel with bulky sneakers. We are mad for FIT FLOPS but just make sure your sandals have a good base for support.
2. Decorative Flat. Pair with shorts, or a simple summer dress for site-seeing and just bopping around town or beachside.
3. Platform Sandal or Espadrilles. Perfect for getting a little height in a dress, or bathing suit and cover-up, whether long or short. They also keep your feet a little cooler by elevating them off a hot sidewalk.
