Dear Friends, As September slips in, the days of summer are numbered. I am always of two minds at this time of year, one is a melancholy mood that my most favorable season is on the wane, the other is the excitement of “getting back to it” and hitting the ground running. The month enters with Fashion Week and its ever so stylish kick-off luncheon, 2024 Couture Council Award for Artistry of Fashion. We are enjoying the exciting East Coast Open at the bucolic Greenwich Polo Club where Smithfield Farms is valiantly vying for the title! Then heading off to Rome for a glorious destination wedding and a few days in Venice – will be sharing packing lists. And over the moon with excitement for son Jake’s upcoming nuptuals in John’s Island in late October – such a fun filled fall. xxookk
