It is a festive and celebratory evening as The School of American Ballet hosts the 2015 Winter Ball at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater on Monday, March 9, 2014. This glamorous Black Tie Dinner Dance is generously sponsored for the seventh year by legendary, Van Cleef & Arpels. Over 500 stylish patrons will gather for Cocktails, Dinner and Dancing. The artistic highlight of the evening is Pièce d’occasion, a one-time-only performance by the advanced students of SAB, choreographed by Silas Farley. The dashing Peter Martins, Artistic Director and Chairman of Faculty for the School of American Ballet along with his Chairmen and gracious Patrons of the Arts, Joyce Guiffra, Julia Koch, Serena Lese and Laura Zeckendorf, as well as the Young Patron Chairmen Noreen Ahmad, Amanda Brotman and Lesley Vecsler have orchestrated a evening filled with memorable movements for melody and merriment. To make a grand entrance at the David Koch Theater, we were inspired by Talbot Runhof’s brilliant blue”Govanti” stretch-satin gown. Runhof is the Master of Fit and Drape, with his signature adjustable neckline, and Godet pleating that create your most flattering silhouette. Eponymous Clutch and Jimmy Choo Metallic Sandals compliment the center-stage style, while Van Cleef & Arpels dazzling jewels complete the look of extraordinary beauty.
