I just can’t believe it has been twenty five years since this organization, guided by the vision of Karen Cohen, Pinky Keeler and Amy Boden, with early support from Mike Bloomberg, set out to transform Randall’s Island where our city’s children played. The Board of Directors, the City, and countless supporters came together to create today’s showcase of fields and facilities, from the rubble of dirt sports areas strewn with garbage. Caps off!
