Having just published Packing for Travel Covid Edition, I thought I would share some of the new tips. And for what to wear on the plane here are a few of the tried and true fashion statements to get you to your destination in comfort and style. Most of my travel this winter will be from LGA TO PBI and back, the temperature shift can be vast so it important to dress in layers that can be removed as you head south and reversed when traveling north.
Start with a great pair of Black Stretchy Pants. These Veronica Beard’s are worth the investment as they hold their shape and pull you in. You will get tons of wear, both north and south.
A light-weight top layer like this Veronica Beard shirt is ideal – elegant and versatile.
Have a little fun with your mask – they will be with us for the foreseeable future.
A Cardigan works well as a second layer, love this two tone from Intermix.
This Glamourpuss Fur is the most luxurious and versatile layer. Treat yourself this holiday season for endless wearing possibilities. Upon arriving in a warm climate, I turn it inside out and stash in in the tote.
Or if you prefer a Faux Fur, love this Stand Studio jacket.
Find a slip-on shoe without metallic details. Even with TSA, some airports require removing shoes.
Love these Roger Vivier low heeled pumps with the iconic buckle in tortoise.
A luxury tote is a great investment in your travel wardrobe. This neutral will work with any color scheme. I tote my computer everywhere. See below for what to pack in your tote.
And of course, a cozy wrap is essential for comfort as well as safety. You can pull it over your nose and mouth as an extra layer of germ protection.
For extra precaution, try one of these Face Shields. Can’t be too careful.
And a pair of gloves on the plane are not a bad idea for additional protection.
