Jump on board for the ride of a lifetime! On Thursday, February 29th, the Colony Hotel Palm Beach will host the sensational cycling scene. Pink Paradise, as the rosy establishment is known, will set the stage for an afternoon of pumping tunes and pedals in support of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s rare cancer research. Since 2007, the Cycle for Survival community has raised more than $366M for rare cancer research at MSK.
Muffie Potter Aston, President of The Society MSK knows first hand the benefits of research: “Our Society Cycle for Survival Palm Beach event is an important initiative which will raise funds on behalf of Memorial Sloan Kettering’s ‘rare cancers’ research. Additionally, the opportunity to have a presence and be engaged in Palm Beach is truly important as it highlights and creates awareness for the work of The Society of MSK in a new community, while raising funds for this important cause.”
Which is why everyone is invited to join in this high-energy pool side event. Bikes, sips, nibbles, giggles, and surprises will take you on your way. Not a biker? No problem! Just sign up as a donor, any amount is appreciated, and join the squad to cheer the riders on to greatness.

I plan to do a little cycling and a lot of cheering for our enthusiastic team to go the distance for this important research. I found pink paradise perfection in this collection of easy breezy frocks. Palm Beach day dressing must-haves — a great pair of wedges, sun hat, shades and a stylish tote to stash your riding gear. And don’t forget your official Johnnie Brown hat for good luck!
KK to Cycle and Spectate
Sarah Wetenhall, President and CEO of The Colony Hotel, has graciously opened the doors for this exciting event. “The Colony Hotel is excited to host The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center at our Pink Paradise for our first stationary-cycling event on February 29th. Whether you are riding a bike or cheering from the sidelines, every dollar donated directly supports innovative rare cancer research at MSK. This is a cause near and dear to all of our hearts, and I am proud to bring this special event to the Palm Beach community that benefits Cycle for Survival.”
Hilary has a long history with The Society as her mother, Nicole Limbocker (pictured below in pink), was a President and is currently on the nominating committee. “I am super excited to be taking part in the first Cycle for Survival Palm Beach Event. MSKCC is a hospital that I hold dear to my heart. And to be part of a fundraising event that benefits the fight against rare cancers is a win. Whether pedaling on a bike or cheering from the sidelines, these looks will have you feeling and looking cool.”
Hilary Goes the Distance!
Catherine Carey, along with Hopscotch & Jorgio (pictured above), is a devotee of The Colony and an uber active member of The Society. She explains her devotion: “As a three-time cancer survivor and a Board Member of the Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, I am thrilled to be joined by Sarah Wetenhall and Karen Klopp as we chair the first Palm Beach Society of MSK Cycle For Survival event at The Colony Hotel. Along with our fabulous committee members and participants, we will be raising much needed funding to develop cures for rare cancers and to continue Sloan Kettering’s unparalleled work in eradicating cancer in our lifetime.”
So rally your sporty pals and spin out at the The Colony Hotel Palm Beach for an afternoon of fun in the sun.
