The Palm Beach Heart Ball will be pumping enormous energy into the town on February 15 at The Breakers Hotel. While Cupid sharpens his arrows in preparation for the fete, we are shopping in hues of red for the ever so glamorous occasion.  This is the island’s longest running Black Tie Gala and features a lively cocktail reception, an elegant dinner, and silent and live auctions meant for generous patrons to open hearts as well as wallets for an essential organization.

This heartfelt night of the American Heart Association raises critical funds for the AHA’s mission of fighting heart disease and stroke, and improving the lives of those who have been affected. I think it is safe to say that every one of us can identify with the disease for ourselves or friends and family.

How energizing it is to shop for a vibrant ensemble for this historic event!  The color red is a potent shade to be worn with passion and valor. Here’s a brilliant collection of scarlet styles for every age and silhouette.

Hilary found her own cache. “It was such fun to search for the perfect red ensemble for this important night. Red is a color that isn’t worn by many, but is flattering on everyone bold enough to wear it. Solid or softened by florals, these dresses will glide around the ballroom in support of this cause so close to our hearts.”

The Heart Ball has not only been a crucial fundraising event for The American Heart Association, but a glamorous night attracting celebrities and politicians to Palm Beach since the 1950s. In years past, the Heart Ball was attended by the likes of Frank Sinatra, John F. Kennedy, Estée Lauder, Lilly Pulitzer, Joe DiMaggio, Perry Como, and the Eisenhowers (who were patients of Paul Dudley White, one of the organization’s founders).
