Miracle on Madison is back with its 34th annual marvelous and magic shopping day on Saturday, December 5th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is THE DAY to fill your holiday gift list as 20% of the day’s sales (up to $15,000 per store) will benefit the pediatric initiatives of The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Hilary and I gleefully took part in the Miracle on Madison social media campaign shoot last week, which gave us a taste of what is in store (and in the stores) for this best of holiday season. We popped into a number of bountiful boutiques and it felt like a winter wonderland. We are grateful that so many have managed to remain in place and have survived the worst of the shutdowns.
At De Beers, Hilary chats with the lovely Daniella about the brand’s commitment and involvement for so many years in this time-honored philanthropic event.
Just two years ago, we were doing a little pre-shopping with the ever-joyful Jamee Gregory, who put so much energy into making Miracle on Madison a huge success.

As for me, I am going to pop into the Leila Heller Gallery for a wonderful new work of art, like this one from Rachel Lee Hovnanian, entitled Shhh.
In our world where retail business have been rocked by the pandemic, it is incredibly generous of these brands to donate 20% of their sales to help children with cancer. The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center was founded in 1946 by a group of forward-thinking women dedicated to enhancing the hospital environment and level of patient support that have always been the hallmark of MSK.
