What a year for the New York City Ballet Spring Gala as they celebrate the 100th Birthday of their illustrious Co-Founding Choreographer, Jerome Robbins.  On May 3 guest will be educated and entertained by a discussion of his lasting impact on dance hosted by Principal Dancer Adriean Danchig-Waring.   Accompanying the talk will be performances of his most popular ballets, including Fancy Free, The Cage, Dances at a Gathering and The Concert.   This is a not-to-be missed event for fans and aficionados who delight in  the influence and legacy of the great master.

For what to wear, we went shopping for something as vibrant and graceful and Mr. Robbins himself and a look that would swing and sway the evening away.    We were drawn to the bright shades and ruffled silhouette of these two gowns while paring with simple and elegant accessories.
