Co-hosted by New York City Ballet and The School of American Ballet, The Nutcracker Family Benefit is one of New York City’s favorite family events of the holiday season. On Saturday, December 8th after a matinee performance of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker™, guests will continue the spirit of merriment with a backstage tour of the “Land of Sweets” followed by a holiday party at 4:00pm on the Theater’s Promenade with special guests from the production and a visit from Santa Claus himself. Expertly organized by Santa’s elves, Honorary Chair Sandra Lee, and Event Chairmen Joyce Giuffra, Amy Griffin, Julia Koch, and Pauline Reyniak, the Benefit supports New York City Ballet’s education programs as well as The School of American Ballet’s Scholarship Fund.
