Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center will be the celebration site for The New York Women’s Foundation 25th Anniversary, Improving the Lifes of Women and Children in New York City,  on October 23.  We recently had the pleasure of attending a luncheon hosted by Jean Shafiroff and found out a bit about this wonderful philanthropic organization.   The dynamic evening will include a dinner buffet, dessert reception and awards ceremony, hosted by Connie  Chung, and an original performance by Tony Award® winning playwright and performer, Sarah Jones. For tickets and for information on how you can get involved, please go to New York Women’s Foundation or contact [email protected].

When the attire is Festive/Business, many will be coming right from work so we went to Bloomingdales to find a great day to night look and fell in love with this  Burberry, versatile sheath, ruched at the waistline to create a flattering silhouette.   To the office, pair with Ferragamo loafer pumps and Anya Hindmarch tote, and to make it more festive,  strap on a pair of B Brian Atwood sandals and  grab an Overture Judith Lieber metallic, faceted clutch.  We are loving all the on-trend pieces from Alexis Bittar make dressing a statement from morning to night.
