I didn’t get too excited about New Year Resolutions this year. Just wasn’t up to swearing oaths that I couldn’t keep. For one, I was knocked out with vertigo and didn’t have the clear headedness, for another, it was getting too boring to make the same list year after year – eat better, exercise more, red more and so on, and so on. I decided to take a generalist approach and have a theme of wellness in the upcoming months. Here is the first of many post which I will share with my friends and family. Bonne santé
Wellness
I like the all-encompassing approach of Dasha Wellness Center, they can fill in the blanks that I am missing. “The DASHA way of life centers around a 360 degree approach to wellness and in using more than one modality to treat health problems. Our team of experts is comprised of industry leaders in chiropractic care, physical therapy, health, and fitness. We utilize nonsurgical and alternative medicine techniques like Active Release Technique, Cold Laser Therapy, EPAT Shockwave Therapy, and Spinal Decompression Therapy to help restore you to an active and healthy lifestyle.”
Re-Read Barbara Grufferman’s Book The Best of Everything After 50: The Experts’ Guide to Style, Sex, Health, Money, and More. The title says it all. Chock full of important and entertaining information. I keep in on my night table.
NUTRI BULLET. Love this machine, plan to use it more in 2014. Makes serving size so you don’t have a gallon of stale green glop in your fridge.
Stretch
Everyone needs more of it.
Hydrate
VOSS WATER in Glass Bottles. I find drinking water from glass bottles taste better. When they are empty, you can put them in the dishwasher, then refill and always have several in the refrigerator ready to go. They are very strong and don’t leak.
LUBRIDREM No matter what skin cream I try, I always come back to my favorites.
Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Skin Cream is the best protection against the cold.
