American Museum of Natural History

On Wednesday, April 25th the American Museum of Natural History will host the 22nd Annual Spring Environmental Lecture and Luncheon.  The event chairmen include Suzanne Cochran, Kathryn P. Kempner, Joanne W. Prager, Catherine B. Sidamon-Eristoff, Mary C. Solomon and Constance Spahn.  This year’s lecture, The Urban Naturalist: The Roosevelt Legacy, will explore the timely and important topic of urban conservation. President Theodore Roosevelt, a New York City native and life-long naturalist and conservationist, inspired a nation to protect and preserve the natural world, from America’s wild spaces to its national parks. For more information, call the Development Special Events Office at 212.496.3457 or [email protected].  For what to wear as an urban conservationist?   We went shopping at SAKS.com to find a vibrant natural-world print, faux wrap dress and accessorized it with Stella McCartney accessories by the designer, committed to the concept of cruelty free fashion.  The hat by Gucci is a natural for trekking the wilds of Central Park in Spring!
