Well I would be remiss in my role as Chair, if I didn’t do a bit of promotion for our 16th Annual Mashomack Polo International Challenge and Luncheon. This prestigious event attracts over 500 patrons and marks the official start of the summer social season in Millbrook. It is a wonderful day of sport bringing guests from New York City and the Tri-State area to spend the day in the countryside and experience “The Sport of Kings.” Children who attend are being treated to their own activities, including the International Parade of Flags and a Petting Zoo. This year we are welcoming Team Brazil and the Chairs, Teresa & Bruce Colley, Parker Gentry Thorne and Karen Klopp, plan to celebrate in vivid Carneval style with free flowing Caipirinhas, sumptuous Brazilian Buffet and of course, the scintillating Brazilian Dancers and D.J. So for what to wear, we went shopping with our friends at Halsbrook, founded by Halsey Meyer a fellow Millbrookian, to find this duo of dresses that will suit any style. White is such a fresh, summer staple to dress up and down and these two can take you from Luncheon to Cocktails with ease.
