It that time of year again when my days are consumed with prep for The Mashomack International Polo Challenge now in it 24th year – you could call it a Labor of Love. Bringing together friends and families on and off the field to celebrate the land, the season and the Sport of Kings. This year our International team is from Mexico and the teams valiantly battle for honor and country.
The event begins at noon with an elegant Champagne Reception followed by a Tented Field-Side Luncheon. The excitement begins with great fanfare as the parade of international flags are led onto the field, followed by the dashing teams of mounted players. Following the match is the awards ceremony with presentations made by our sponsors and their representatives.
