What to wear next week to a Mardi Gras party?   Mardi Gras is french for Fat Tuesday, referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season, which begins on Ash Wednesday.  It is celebrated around the world, most notably in Brazil, Venice and New Orleans. Whether you’re celebrating wildly in one of these infamous settings, or elsewhere with festive friends, we have put together the perfect look to pay homage to this tradition of mirth and revelry.  In keeping with the Mardi Gras theme, we assembled a jazzy collection of purple,  green and gold, the traditional colors of the fête.   Purple represents justice; green, faith; and gold, power. This Shoshanna Lace dress has just the right amount of flirty decollate to make it a stand out.     We  jazzed it up with feathers to strut, and beads to swing and sway, the brightest gold bag and shoes  from Milly and Manolo Blahnik, to create  a festive ensemble to dance the night away.
