Dear Friends, June could not arrive sooner for me. To be honest, I was distracted last month as returning to the city and upstate New York left me swamped with the practicalities of spring cleaning and clean up. Now if only Mother Nature can cease her jesting, we can get a proper summer started. This country celebrates our 250 years of democracy, and there will be celebrations galore.
