We have been getting many questions asking us, what to wear to school interviews and tours? So we went right to the source and asked our friend, Linda Casertano, the Associate Head of Admission at Millbrook School, for her savvy and extremely helpful advice. “Dress for comfort, respectful of the school’s dress code, and in a way that makes you feel poised and confident.” We took her insight and put together two outfits to dress both Mother and Daughter. For Mom, we chose an equestrian-style tweed blazer, classically cut corduroys, flat weave turtleneck sweater, a silk scarf and low heeled boots which are great for walking around campus. Following Linda’s advice, we dressed the young lady in chanel-like tweed skirt, black turtleneck, grey tights, ballet flats and the ubiquitous UGG’s topped off with a country-classic Barbour. Remember girls, you only get one chance to make a first impression so keep your hair and nails clean and neat.
