The IRC’s Lunch for Children raises vital funds for the organization’s work with refugee children and their families. This year’s prestigious event on Tuesday, May 17 honors two dedicated activists and philanthropists, Jody Eastman and Susan Patricof. Scott Pelley, Correspondent, CBS News/60 Minutes will be the hosts and the Keynote Speaker is Radhika Coomaraswamy, United Nations Under Secretary-General and Special Representative of the Secretary General for Children and Armed Conflict. Of every $1 the IRC spends, 90¢ goes to programs and services that directly benefit communities affected by war or disaster. For this power group and what to wear to a luncheon, we are thinking Power Suit, not an old-fashioned masculine silhouette but a gorgeously feminine jacket that commands attention – and who does it better that Giorgio Armani? Whether you pair it with a skirt or high waisted pants, the look is completely pulled together. Add a pop of color with these gorgeous Blue Suede Manolo‘s and some texture with the Jimmy Choo Snakeskin Clutch or go with the ever-in-style simple black accessories.
