In spite of the horrible devastation caused to the Tri-State area by Hurricane Sandy, The NYRP’s Hulaween will still go on as planned! “With all the damage to green spaces, the work of New York Restoration Project is more important than ever.” Each Halloween, the fabulously divine Bette Midler throws the most fantastic Hulaween Party of the year to benefit The New York Restoration Project, the organization that Bette founded to promote a cleaner and greener New York. The NYRP helps to restore, revitalize and develop under-resourced parks and community gardens throughout the city’s five boroughs. On Wednesday, October 31 at The Waldorf=Astoria, the outrageous celebration will honor Amy Goldman Fowler and Cary Fowler, welcome special guest Al Gore, and feature a special musical performance by the one and only Blondie and costume judging by American fashion icon Michael Kors.
