Remember when booties were something you lovingly tied on your little one’s itty bitty feet, only to have them kicked off a moment later. Well now they have gone mainstream. A friend recently asked the question, “How do I wear booties?” I have learned to love the short cut boots that have become a wardrobe staple. They have come out from under our jeans to create a modern silhouette, that anyone can wear. I like to pair them with slim knit pants and a big cozy sweater, an everyday “uniform” for casual days in the office that can easily go to lunch.
