Giovanna Randall, head designer is an opera singer turned pre-medical student turned luxury designer, trained at FIT before interning at CNC Costume National in Milan. Profoundly influenced by generations of her Italian and Welsh family — as large as it is close-knit — Giovanna named HONOR after her own adored sister, and her vision is infused with a heritage of fearless women, past and present. To celebrate the launch of the e-commerce site and encapsulate designer Giovanna Randall’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection, film-maker H. Spencer Young directed a short fashion film. Shot in New York, where the brand does 100% of its production, the film renders Giovanna Randall’s inspirations to music by Here We Go Magic and Emeralds and Debussy, and features models Anne Sophie Monrad, Kate K and Xiao Wen.
