Next Tuesday, June 5, HELP USA will host the political-star-studded Tribute Awards Dinner at the Waldorf=Astoria to honor several of the political scene’s biggest names, President Bill Clinton and Governor and Mrs. Mario Cuomo, as HELP Heroes. A cocktail reception will begin at 6:00, followed at 7:00 by dinner and program, including a special performance by the wonderful contemporary opera singer Jessye Norman. Awards will also be given honoring Ret. Colonel Jack Jacobs, Ellen Schapps Richman & Richard Richman, Gregory B. Braca, and Robin Dubin Avram for their work in assisting the humanitarian efforts championed by HELP USA, which has been providing homes, jobs, and services to America’s homeless since 1986.
With the political A-team in attendance, you know you’d better be dressed to impress. When an invitation calls, as this one does, for business attire, we tend to go dark when choosing what to wear.
