East Hampton Library Author’s Night

One of the most popular and celebrity-studded events of the Hamptons’ Summer Calendar, East Hampton Library Authors Night has grown over its history to become one of the most successful celebrations of books and authors in America, and one of the largest library-author events of its kind in the country.    Founding Honorary Chair, Alec Baldwin, will be joined by his wife Hilaria Baldwin, Robert A. Caro, Dick Cavett, Peter Marino, Malcolm Nance, Jessica Seinfeld, Stephen Kennedy Smith, and Elizabeth Vargas as the 2017 Chairs,  guaranteeing  a fabulously attended social and literary event.   The eventful begins at  5 PM, with the book signing cocktail party and continues at 8 PM with private dinner parties featuring guest authors at area homes.  Here is a chance for all of us budding authors to rub shoulders with some of the greats.   For tickets and information, please go to Authors Night.

For a what to wear Hamptons moment, we channeled our one of the most elegantly styled authors, Tom Wolfe,  in choosing a crisp white suit, accessorized sharply with Jimmy Choo wedges to elongate the line, Proenza Schouler clutch, jewelry by ASHA and of course, an iconic fedora styled by Rag and Bone.   All displaying confidence that you have the “Right Stuff.”
