We had such fun at The Jimmy last night celebrating our friends, designer Chris Benz, and his muse, Mickey Sumner, on the cover of Avenue Magazine. Dubbed “The Prince of Prep” in his cover-story, we cannot tell you how obsessed we are with Benz’ modern-take on such a staple in American style. Mixing with prints and fabrics, his designs have a unique voice in contemporary fashion. His most recent Fall 2011 collection is our ultimate fave where he found inspiration from the southern belles of Savannah, Georgia- using sophisticated silhouettes in florals and muted hues with a splashes of sparkle and tweed. We cannot wait to see what Chris Benz creates for his upcoming resort line!
