2017 is the Year of the Rooster in Chinese New Year celebrated from January 21 and February 20.  Roosters are said to be the most motivated animal in the Chinese zodiac and always put their careers first. It should make for a productive celebration!   Every year my friend, Jeremy FitzGerald throws a spectacular Chinese New Year Party with fun friends and fabulous food.   Every year I wait until the last minute to figure out what to wear and admittedly show up in some lame approximation of Chinoise Festive Wear.  So this year I decided to get a jump on it.  While searching for some new “Comfy Clothes”  a la Loungewear,  I came  across the perfect solution for What to Wear Chinese New Year.   Either of these Natori Pajama Tops, paired with Piazza Sempione Shantung Silk Pants.  In Chinese tradition, red is one of the luckiest colors and it is believed to ward off danger and evil lurking in the New Year, so we found some bright and happy accessories to complete our looks.
