In my mind, there is nothing as useful in the fall and early winter as a trusty cape. You can wear it alone on warmer days and as a top layer over a vest or blazer. Chic suits are all over this season and a cape completes the stylish ensemble. I find a cape especially useful for travel, by day throw over pants and a turtleneck, and in the evening they present a polished look over a little black dress and pumps. I have my eye on the Water Repellent Cape Coat Soia & Kyo to fill an empty niche in my cape collection.
