Our friend, Robin Cofer, is Honorary Chair of NYC Dance Alliance Foundation’s Bright Lights Shining Stars Gala, on Wednesday, September 5, with two incredible Guests of Honor: Mikhail Baryshnikov and Liza Minnelli, who will be presented with the NYCDAF Ambassador for the Arts Award. This glitteringly star-studded affair, held at the NYU Skirball Center and sponsored by Capezio and Dance Magazine, will feature gorgeous song and dance to benefit the NYC Dance Alliance Foundation. The delightfully effervescent evening will begin with a flourish with a red carpet cocktail reception at 6pm, followed by the main Gala Ballet Performance at 7:30.
