How exciting that the Boys Club New York will present its 67th Annual Fall Dance in partnership with BALENCIAGA, the iconic fashion house known for its uncompromising standards of style. On Wednesday, October 28, 2015 the swans will be in flocking to The Plaza in full fashion finery as Co-Chairs Lindsey Coleman, Stephanie Coleman, Ana Laffont, and Eleanor Ylvisaker create an elegant evening of cocktails and dinner followed by dancing and revelry. The Black & White Formal Attire is reminiscent of an iconic celebration at the Plaza – Truman Capote’s Black & White Ball on November 28, 1966. It has been called “The Party of the Century” but then again, we haven’t seen this one yet!
For what to wear when the invitation calls for Black & White Formal Attire, we chose a Balenciaga figure-skimming crepe gown, with a sultry, flattering fit. The light-catching faux pearl and crystal embellishment create a elegant statement. We accessorized with romantic, feminine flourishes, a pearled Oscar de la Renta clutch, Givenchy pearl and crystal earrings and Jimmy Choo lace sandals.
