One of the most interesting and well-attended lunches by a well-heeled crowd of conservationist and philanthropists is the National Audubon Society Women in Conservation Luncheon 2017 and Rachel Carson Awards founded by Allison Whipple Rockefeller, taking place on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at The Plaza. Audubon’s Women in Conservation Program was created for girls and women to discover the world of conservation and connect with the best and brightest women leaders in the environmental movement. The Rachel Carson Award honors American women whose work has greatly advanced conservation locally and globally. For tickets or for more information, please visit Audubon Women in Conservation.
For what to wear to this elegant event at The Plaza, we were inspired by a soft palette of creams and neutrals. A simple white sheath is a must-have for every gal’s wardrobe. You can brighten it with accessories that pop color and texture, go with a vivid white and black scheme, or soften the look, as we have done here for a natural-world vibe.
