Saks Fifth Avenue and the Associates Committee of the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center have assembled the glamorous 5th Annual Associates Luncheon for Tuesday, February 5 at noon at Saks’ Café SFA on Eight, kicking off with cocktails followed by a seated luncheon. The wonderful Chairmen Veronica Beard, Kate Doerge, Shabnam Henry, and Bara Tisch have ensured the event will be a great success. All proceeds from the lunch will benefit the Pediatric Family Housing Endowment, which will support overnight stays at nearby accommodations for families of pediatric patients who are undergoing medical treatment at MSKCC. For what to wear to this lovely luncheon, our first and only stop was, of course, SAKS.com, where we took our cue from the chic invitation in black and white, and chose a sophisticated Shoshanna dress with an oh-so-flattering silhouette. We paired it with black patent Jimmy Choo pumps, as we find the famed 10022 – Shoe, the only shoe department with it’s own zip code, to carry the best selection of Jimmy Choos around. A fiercely chic Dolce & Gabbana leopard-print bag, and jewelry with just a bit of an edge completes the ladies luncheon look. Then topped it all off with a belted black coat with leather trim for extra polish.
