Ring it in and sing it in! The New York City shopping tradition for 38 years, Miracle on Madison arrives on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Members, friends, neighbors and strangers of good taste and goodwill skedaddle to Madison for all sorts of holiday gifting and getting, as 20 percent of the day’s sales (up to $15,000 per store) will benefit MSK Kids, the pediatric initiatives of The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

First stop is always Ralph Lauren, the brand defining our chic American style, and where the holiday decor sets the festive mood for the season where elegance and glamour abounds. The 2024 holiday windows seem to be especially sparkling this year, with metallics of all shades and shapes. Can’t wait for New Year’s Eve!
Just a block away is Francis Valentine, he windows beckoned with seasonal shades while inside awaits a profusion of colors and novel gifts & stocking stuffers.
For What to Wear, we are dressing up for a day to night look – with so many festive, seasonal events, who has time to change? Keeping it simple and stylish without giving into the winter’s chill upon us. The Max Mara Coat is an investment in cold weather style with that big cozy collar! Pair it with a classic Ralph Lauren Sweater Dress and Manolo Blahnik knee high boots, THE IT BOOTS of the season. The Etro Vera Bag is a delight in Italian design and for a little shine, we shopped our “wish list” at Sidney Garber for fabulous gold pieces.
Veronica de Piante is a new addition this year and a welcome one.
To make shopping easier and fun, stores will display their selections of “miracle” gifts and welcome customers with Madison Avenue hospitality, treats and special programming. Shoppers can follow the blue and white balloons to shop in participating stores and businesses. For shoppers that are unable to shop in person, but would like to make a purchase, they are invited to call or email that retailer’s Miracle Personal Shopper listed on the Madison Avenue B.I.D. website. This year, the excitement is both north AND south as the inaugural Miracle in Palm Beach kicks into high gear thanks to the stalwart support and on-the-ground energy of Claire Capello, Webb Egerton, Maria von Bothmer, Claudia Overstrom, Asya Geller and Julia Wynn.
