Madison Square Boys & Girls Club will host Salute to Style, its Annual Luncheon on April 18th 2018, at the Metropolitan Club. Salute to Style is a new twist on the highly celebrated Purses & Pursenalities Luncheon. This event is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends, hear from renowned members of the fashion world, and bid on designer items in our exclusive silent auction. This luncheon featured elements from all aspects of the world of style including, apparel, accessories, home décor, artwork, and more! The funds raised support programs like SMART Girls to empower and encourage healthy attitudes and lifestyles that will enable adolescent girls to develop to their full potential. For information and tickets, go to MADISONSQUARE.ORG or call 212.760.9600.
For what to wear to a charity luncheon, I went shopping at Veronica Beard and found a retro-chic look, reminiscent of the “Ladies who Lunch”. I will add the Azra and Aurielia dresses to my spring and travel wardrobe, and the Talie Jacket, is a natural paired with jeans and white shirt. A current shoe obsession is Peek a Boo for their breezy appeal. Add a fantastic pair of shades and you are ready to salute with style . . . to style!
