Set sail for the hottest summer party in Newport! On Saturday, July 9th, International Yacht Restoration School will host its 19th Annual Summer Gala. IYRS is a world-class experiential school dedicated to teaching highly technical and deeply craft-oriented career skills. Co-title sponsors Condé Nast and State Street will help IYRS School of Technology & Trades raise funds in support of the school’s unique experiential education model. Its Gala is one of the hottest summer parties in Newport RI, and this year the featured entertainer is Jackson Browne. The dress code is Jewels and Jeans and I headed to Bergdorf Goodman and Net-a-Porter to get my look for the night. I fell in love with the fringe top by Alice + Olivia and added some fun accessories like the fabulous crystal embellished Guiseppe Zanotti platforms and not to miss cocktail rings. With this outfit I certainly won’t be “Running on Empty”!
