On Saturday, July 14, at 6:30pm, join us in Southampton for cocktails and merriment to kick off Parrish Art Museum‘s wonderful Midsummer Party. Dinner will commence at 7:30, followed by the “After 10 Party,” with 10 pm cocktails, dancing, and dessert, all in celebration of the the expanded horizons to come at the Museum’s new Water Mill site. The evening will honor the “Creative Spirit of the East End” by recognizing seven inspiring individuals who have made such a difference to contemporary culture: Director/choreographer Patricia Birch, Visual artist Chick Close, Author/historian Barbara Goldsmith, Interior designers Tony Ingrao & Randy Kemper, Musician G.E. For what to wear, we shopped NET-A-PORTER‘s fantastic selection and found these two knockout dresses. We love the way the silver tones in the accessories play up the brightness in the cream and blue dresses, and whenever we’re attending a party at an art museum, we always make a point of wearing jewelry pieces that are works of art themselves. Just remember not to overdo it when you’re wearing statement jewelry, and don’t try to wear a necklace and earrings together.
