Dear Friends,  Happy April, no fooling!    Having spent a good deal of the winter in the south, I am looking forward to returning to the city this month.  Already the calendar is gearing up with lots of things to do and go to. A trip to the newly opened Hudson Yards is on the top of the list.  Last time there, we were wearing hardhats and ducking construction debris. Also coming up is a long awaited visit to Cuba. Eons ago, I worked on a documentary production, “Grandpapa”,  tracking Margaux Hemingway in search of her grandfather’s infamous haunts. Alas, I was pregnant and not permitted to travel. Several other opportunities were since missed, thus I am thrilled to go there.   Look for an article on What to Pack For Cuba, as well as What to Wear to destination weddings and spring galas. This month we will be looking forward to charity lunches, including The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, our April Charity of the Month.  The speaker is Tara Westover best selling author of Educated, a gripping true story of human resilience – I highly recommend listening on Audible, as it is read by the author.
