On Sunday, June 5, 2011, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic will return to Governors Island for one of the most highly-anticipated events of the season, attracting a fashionable crowd from around the globe, and featuring the glamour and excitement of polo. The Classic will benefit the Urban Zen Hope Help & Rebuild Haiti (HHRH), created by Donna Karan, whose aim is galvanizing a community in response to Haiti’s immediate need to rebuild after the devastating earthquake in January 2010.
