On Tuesday, March 4 at the 2014 Art Show Gala Preview, will be a “don’t miss” evening on New York’s social and cultural calendars and the start of one of the city’s most stimulating and enjoyable arts events, New York City ArtsWeek. The glittering Art Show Preview, a sparkling and elegant cocktail party and a first look at the exceptional works being offered at the fair, heralds a week of art fairs and events across the city. With Agnes Gund, as Honorary Chair and Bunty Armstrong, Janine and J. Tomilson Hill, Alexandra Lebenthal and Byron and Anita Volz Wien Co Chairing, and the room full of the very best dealers and collectors, this lively and elegant cocktail party promises to be a dazzling art evening. The Art Show, which is organized annually by the Art Dealers Association of America to benefit Henry Street Settlement, will be open to the public from March 5 to 9, from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
