On Saturday, August 8th newportFILM will host its 6th Annual Summer Benefit. I love to attend this festive cocktail party held at the historic International Tennis Hall of Fame. Founded in 2010, newportFILM brings documentary films to the Rhode Island community. The films are shown outdoors with the natural beauty of Newport and Aquidneck Island as their backdrop. I am so proud of my friend Andrea Van Beuren, who is one of the founders, for creating this amazing company. The films they show each week bring entertainment, discovery and culture to our community and have become a must see event. For the benefit this year I shopped at Bergdorf Goodman. I wanted something cool and summery to wear and these dresses fit the bill. Add a sparkly gold sandal and jewelry and I will be ready to raise a glass in support of newportFILM.
