CPC Women's Committee Fall Luncheon 2012

Soaring high above Central Park in all of its brilliant fall splendor, The Central Park Conservancy’s Women’s Committee Fall Luncheon is a wonderful way to celebrate the Conservancy’s incredible mission. On Monday, October 15 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the elegant Chairman Maricia Mishaan, along with her lovely Co-Chairs Carol Mack and Peggy Siegal, have put together a memorable afternoon with remarks by Guest Speaker Trudie Styler. As founder of  the Rainforest Foundation with her husband Sting, and ambassador for UNICEF, among many other accomplishments, Trudie’s conservation and philanthropic works are legendary. For more information, please call the Women’s Committee at 212-310-6675 or e-mail [email protected].

For what to wear to a fall luncheon, we took our inspiration from the beautiful and rich burnt red of the invitation – so vibrant for the fall.  We were thrilled to find it at SAKS.com in two chic and flirty styles, both perfect for the occasion.   Van Cleef & Arpels are the generous sponsors of the luncheon and we just adore every piece in their iconic Alhambra Collection.  The Tiger’s Eye and Carnelian are a stunning combination, and we added a great calf hair clutch by Clare Vivier for an extra pop of wow.  Sleek black updated “Mary Janes” are the finishing touch to this fall daywear delight so stylishly perfect for right now, and all the way through the holidays.
